David Shev
David Shev is a physical therapist, healthcare entrepreneur, and founder of Billing Nerds with more than a decade of hands-on experience in physical and occupational therapy practice management. After building and operating multiple PT and OT clinics throughout the NYC area, David experienced firsthand the challenges of working with billing companies that struggled to collect revenue efficiently, directly impacting practice cash flow. In 2015, he brought medical billing in-house and developed the expertise and systems needed to achieve a 99% reimbursement rate across his practices. After successfully selling his clinics, David founded a medical billing and credentialing company to help other healthcare providers overcome the same challenges. In 2019, he launched Billing Nerds with a mission to bring clinical experience and billing expertise together under one roof. Since then, Billing Nerds has helped hundreds of therapy and healthcare practices across the country improve collections, streamline billing operations, and strengthen their financial performance. David's approach is rooted in a simple belief: effective medical billing isn't just about submitting claims, it's about understanding healthcare operations, payer behavior, and the business of running a successful practice.
Rhonda Scantlebury
With over 20 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, Rhonda Scantlebury has helped healthcare providers across a wide range of specialties improve billing performance, maximize reimbursements, and streamline revenue cycle operations. Her expertise spans medical billing, credentialing, claims management, Medicare and commercial insurance, accounts receivable, denial management, and EDI/ERA enrollment. Known for her attention to detail and practical problem-solving approach, Rhonda works closely with providers and billing teams to simplify complex billing challenges and strengthen the financial health of medical practices.

With over five years of dedicated experience in provider enrollment, I specialize in navigating the complexities of credentialing and payer enrollment across all 50 states. My expertise spans a diverse range of specialties, including Physicians (MD/DO), Allied Health Professionals (PT, OT, SLP, Optometry), Advanced Practice Providers (NPs, PAs), and Behavioral Health Specialists (ABA, Psychologists, LMSW, LCSW). From commercial payers and Medicare to state Medicaid programs, I handle end-to-end enrollment to eliminate administrative burdens, ensure regulatory compliance, and get providers in-network fast so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
